AVTOMATIKA-VEKTOR modernized optimization system of the peeling line centering and loading device at one of the plywood factories in Kirov Oblast.
The system's task is to scan piece of log to get the optimal positioning in the spindles of the peeling machine when transferred from the centering and loading device.
During the modernization the technically obsolete foreign scanning equipment was replaced with our system based on VECTOR-LVM and our software for optimizing the position of the log was installed.
As a result, the raw material consumption rate was reduced due to obtaining a larger number of whole sheets and reducing the amount of piece veneer..

The video shows that the peeling machine is not idle waiting for a piece of log, and it is also noticeable that the sagging bark and curvature do not affect the optimization of the pieces of logs.
