At one of the Vologda enterprises, an edge trimming line was put into operation and the lines for green and dry lumber sorting were modernized.
A full range of works was performed for the edge trimming line: design, assembly of power and automation cabinets, electrical installation, creation of a control program, commissioning. The line is equipped with a longitudinal wane scanner based on three Vector-LVM modules and an industrial PC with special individual software.
For the lines for green and dry lumber sorting, software was developed to control the operation of the lines based on existing Siemens PLCs, as well as software for PC (BSortExpert, Sorting Operator Workstation, Stacking Machine Operator Workstation), allowing work with board defect scanners. The lines were put into operation.
