Our programmers have released an updated version of the sawmill line control system - SawLine Expert. What's changed in the program?
1. Web application
The program is implemented as a web application, so you can work not only from the operator's PC, but also, for example, from a tablet on the line, making adjustments without leaving the machines.
Security issues have also been carefully considered: access from any device other than the operator's PC requires authorization, and everything works on a local network without internet access. The software runs on Windows as well as on Russian operating systems.
2. Integration with SawmillControl
The program is now integrated with the SawmillControl monitoring service, where we collect detailed statistics on sawmill line operation, not just the number and volume of logs cut per shift:
you can monitor productivity for each sawing pattern and operator,
downtime is displayed with detailed reasons,
the condition of equipment and components is monitored,
all operator actions are logged, so in the event of a line failure, you can check whether an employee is at fault.
3. Maintenance Directory
The new version features a detailed maintenance directory with notifications based on service life. The system monitors the operation of drives and, consequently, the main components of the units, and alerts when replacement is required.
Time and elements are configured individually for each sawmill in close collaboration with the enterprise's technologists. For example, a notification can be set up to change the main drive oil or the feed conveyor gasket every 1,000 engine hours.
