Frequently asked questions and their solution.
Downward movement of pockets:
When you use standard hydraulic system for downward movement of pockets, you can turn it on on elevating or downward movement at a time. It is possible to redesign hydraulic system so that several pockets can move up or down simultaneously, independently of each other. Moreover, when moving down we use a special technique to reduce oil consumption from the pump. This allows more pockets to move down at the same time without using high capacity pumps.
Single piece feeders:
When using hydraulics at single piece feeder, it is important that conveyors which are close to the main conveyor (hooks) can adapt to the speed of main conveyor, and at the same time more distant conveyors should roll faster allowing a board to “reach” the previous board without energy loss. For this purpose the special version of Danfoss motor was designed.
Stacking machines:
Traditionally stacking machines worked on hydraulic systems, but modern machines are produced with electric drive. However downward movement and elevating of pockets still works on hydraulic systems; sticker bin also often works on hydraulic systems. Frequent problem with stacking machines is a cycle duration. It is possible to reach the capacity up to 12 layers per minute by means of modernization.
