We put Truck Inspector, an automated timber truck measurement system, into operation at Cherepovets Plywood and Furniture Plant, JSC in Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast.
Laser scanners and cameras mounted on a metal frame collect data on passing vehicles with cargo. The program processes this data and calculates the volume of logs being transported.
The time to measure the volume of one batch is no more than 1 minute. The data is stored on the server, and reports can be generated by various filters (acceptance, shipment, for all or for a separate vehicle, for a period, by operators, etc.).
