Dry lumber sorting lines supplied to the USSR in 1966-1980 by the Finnish company Plan-Sell OY are still in demand and are used at many Russian enterprises because of their reliability.
In September 2021, AVTOMATIKA-VEKTOR replaced the automation of such a line at one of the Arkhangelsk sawmills, and in May 2022 our engineers updated the automated control systems of lines №1 and №2 packaging shop at Lesosibirsky LDK №1 (Krasnoyarsk krai, Russia) which is part of the Segezha Group holding.
As part of the contract, new stacker's operator panels and a controller kit based on Simatic S7-1500 were supplied. In the terms agreed with the customer, the installation and comission of the supplied equipment were carriede out, the personnel was trained to work with the system.
Continuing to work with the Segezha Group holding, in the summer of 2022 our engineers completed the commissioning of automated systems in the green lumber sorting shop at the Novoyeniseiskiy Wood Chemical Complex (Krasnoyarsk krai, Russia).
The complex includes 2 Springer green lumber sorting lines with vertical and horizontal bins as well as a non-standard stacking machine for assembling a "Scandinavian" package. For this project, due to the uniqueness of the line design, the software was additionally improved.
